Dark Moon in Aquaria
Art by @dariahlazatova
Keep a close eye on this week and all its grand revelations as we make our way through its darknesses towards the strange light of the Aquarian moon, she who tows in the lunar new year. The new world is arriving even if your boots remain stuck in the muck and the mire of the old. Its brutal tenets will still kill you where you stand without fear or favour.
Sitting sentinel at the gates of Aquaria is our dark lord in revolutionary mode. This week as our personal planets join the water bearer's search party on the hunt for something truer, each will make the crossing. Pluto will loom at the banging gate and hand them a skeleton key, one by shimmering one, that unlocks the door to our deepest shadows. The places we hide and protect, our darkest secrets and greatest redemption, all that must die and rebirth from within. This is always the work of end times. For the old world to fall, we all have to let it go.
Humanity's heaving sorrow is the inevitable result of a world of warcraft. That only cares to win and dominate, whose armies wage war on life itself. The golden age that beckons knows there is a shining path beyond its devastating bombs and smoking guns, all its empty words and loaded promises. A multitude of ways and means that could lead us into uncommon peace, strong diverse communion and great love. But the price of admission is high and nothing is guaranteed.
You cannot outrun, outwit or outsmart your own shadow. It knows you too well for that. Hurling it at others or blaming them for the fault in your stars is a mug's game that only obscures the frame. Pluto turns that trigger finger around for maximum impact.
This week's shocking wake up calls, wild revelations and dark secrets will line the moon's balsam, pinning love notes to even the blackest places. The future will keep knocking loudly and you will have to get out in front of the past to answer its insistent call. If you cannot trade old ways for new you have no business on its front lines. But if you are listening carefully to your soul's soft song, you can find the courage to muster a welcome.
